About Jen Garrett
Jennifer A. Garrett is an internationally recognized leadership coach, author, high performance expert, and powerful speaker who possesses a passion for helping and inspiring others, pushing boundaries, and driving individuals and organizations out of their comfort zones to achieve greatness. Today Jennifer, together with her organization, Elevate Your Hustle, teaches individuals how to play for success and cross the goal line by showing them how the competitive athlete mentality can be taken "off the field" and applied to one’s career, business, and the personal setting to be successful. Jennifer’s organization also works with athletes as they transition “off the field” to be all-star players in life after sports.
Jennifer stands out from the crowd because she possesses a rare-level of drive and determinism. She plays the game of life as if she were on the football field, always focused on getting into the end zone and winning. She settles for nothing less.
Jennifer's story is inspiring to those who meet her. She plays the game of life hard and has completed seven college degrees: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering, B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), Master of Arts (M.A.) in Communication and Leadership Studies, Juris Doctor (J.D.), Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Business Transactions, and LL.M. in Taxation. She completed her graduate degrees while working full-time, being a single parent, and raising her five children.
Jennifer currently works as an executive leadership coach, corporate strategy consultant and trainer, and Judge Advocate in the Army National Guard. As a results-oriented leader with a proven track record of challenging the status quo, Jennifer helps her clients drive organizational efficiency, optimize their organization, unleash their team's potential, close large-scale business deals, and exceed targets. Jennifer’s extensive corporate experience includes working for the federal government, and in Fortune 50 Companies such as The Boeing Company and General Electric. Her expertise spans many areas such as legal, sales, marketing, branding, engineering, program management, and strategic planning. In December 2012, Jennifer received the GE Women’s Network Hall of Fame “Real Life Hero” Award.
Jennifer currently serves on the Board of Counselors for the University of Southern California Marshall’s Master of Business for Veterans (MBV) program and is on the Board of Advisors for the Women’s National Football Conference (WNFC), and the Ohio Players team of the Freedom Football League (FFL). Additionally, she is involved with a number of non-profit organizations dedicated to helping current and former military service members and professional athletes such as Merging Vets and Players and Operation Teammate.
